Duty Free and Security at Blackpool Airport...

 
 
Duty Free Purchases
 
Liquid duty free purchases can still be made, with quantities larger than 100ml, and can be taken on board the aircraft as stated by Blackpool Airport security unofficial information.
 
Security at Blackpool Airport means that when purchases are made they will be placed in a sealed plastic bag. Do not break the seal until you have reached your final destination. Also retain your receipt as you may need to prove your goods have been purchases airside.
 

Connecting Flights - Important Information

 
If you have to change flights at any EU airport, special restrictions can apply. Passengers can only take liquid items (for example duty free) through the security check point at your connecting airport if they :
 
  • conform to requirements for travellers departing from EU airports; or

  • have been purchased airside at another EU airport, or on board a plane, operated by an EU carrier.

  • Liquid goods over 100ml purchased from other airports, or on board a flight, may only be carried as hold baggage on the connecting flight.

Austria, Belgium, Cyprus, Czech Republic, Denmark, Estonia, Finland, France, Germany, Greece, Hungary, Ireland, Italy, Latvia, Lithuania, Luxembourg, Malta, Netherlands, Poland, Portugal, Slovakia, Slovenia, Spain, Sweden, United Kingdom.
